Our approach to the services we offer is an open one – we do whatever needs to be done to achieve the outcome you’re after. As long as the project is predominantly laser cut or engraved, then we’re happy to carry out or manage whatever else might come before or after – if you’re not sure what that might be, we will be. Understanding and completing complex projects is what excites us, and what defines us as a business – the 3 main service categories we specialise in are as follows:

Engraving

> Deep, medium and shallow engraving into Solid Woods, Recycled Timbers, Plywood, Bamboo, Wool Felt, Leathers, Cotton Papers, Specialty Papers & Card, Fabrics, Cardboard, Cork (note that only non-volatile organic materials are processed in-house), and MDF, Plastics, Acrylics (off-site)
> Into a range of irregular objects, such as blocks of wood, tiles, stones, skateboard decks etc.
> Surface engraving of Stainless Steel, Anodised Aluminium, Mild Steel, Brass, Glass, Marble, Stone, Slate and Ceramics.

Cutting

> Of Solid Woods, Recycled Timbers, Plywood, Bamboo, Wool Felt, Leathers, Cotton Papers, Specialty Papers & Card, Fabrics, Cardboard (note that only non-volatile organic materials are processed in-house) and of MDF, Acrylic, Plastics Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Mild Steel, Brass, Copper, Glass and Ceramic (off-site).
> High power profile cuts – to cut shapes out completely.
> Medium power scoring cuts – to allow for snap-off or folded elements.
> Low power etching cuts – to create stencil masking layers suitable for painting.

Finishing

> Sanding edges & faces to a desired finish – by belt or by hand.
> Filing of edges to remove sharpness.
> Painting – spray painting or by hand, in a range of colours.
> Gluing – hot gluing, epoxy bonding, superglue bonding, PVA wood gluing, acrylic bonding etc..
> Laminating of multiple duplicate parts to achieve a desired thickness.
> Duplexing of papers and card.
> Varnishing – Danish oil, hard lacquer, shellac or similar.
> Staining & oiling of wood.
> Removal of masking layers.
> Fastening – using bolts, screws, nails etc.
> Basic wood working processes – drilling, cutting to length, bevelling etc.
> Assembly of multiple parts – from key rings to entire models / prototypes.
> Quality control.
